Working with pre or postnatal depression


Being diagnosed with pre and/or postnatal depression can be very difficult.

Sometimes there can be difficult decisions that might have to be made about employment. Sometimes taking that little extra time after giving birth to return to work might be really helpful but for others returning to work might also have a positive effect.


Pre and postnatal depression symptoms can differ from person to person and you may not have to change the way you work or your current employment.


However, some people may feel they would benefit if adjustments were made in their current work environment.
